Vision

High Tor Gear Exchange is a combination of our love of the outdoors and our desire to transform the way we buy stuff, in this case, how we buy the clothes and products we need to spend more time outside. The inspiration for the shop came about in part as we sought a way to have a positive impact in Charlottesville, as well as to create a movement towards more conscious consumption. Our goal is to give the Charlottesville community access to high quality used outdoor gear and clothing, and to create an avenue for participation in the circular economy.

Mission

Our mission is to provide environmentally responsible buying options for outdoor gear and clothing. We support local individuals, businesses, and nonprofits who are stewards of the environment and advocates of outdoor exploration.

15-day return policy

Items can be returned for store credit within 15 days with a receipt, if they are in the same condition as when you purchased them. Please do not take items on an epic outdoor adventure and try to return them.
